  EVENT CALENDAR: Carey honored by VH1; Goldsberry in Hollywood; Rowland/BeBe Winans to salute Bee Gees.

*Mariah Carey and Jon Bon Jovi will join in celebrating the VH1 Save The Music Foundation's 10th Anniversary Gala on Sept. 20 at Lincoln Center in New York City. Jon Bon Jovi will perform as part of a special tribute to VH1 Save The Music founder John Sykes during a ceremony that will also honor Mariah Carey for her unyielding support of The Foundation's mission. Since 1998, Carey has performed at several benefit shows, including the very first "VH1 Divas" in 1998, and has been active in raising public awareness about the benefits of music education during events such as NBC's "VH1 Save The Music Today! Week." John Mayer, will co-headline the event. Tim Gunn of ?Project Runway? will also be on hand to emcee a live auction.


      *The Color Purple's Renee Elise Goldsberry will take part in ?An Evening with Kathy Brier,? to be held at 8 p.m. June 14 at the Derby in Hollywood, CA (4500 Los Feliz Blvd.). Brier starred with Goldsberry on the ABC soap ?One Life to Live.? They?ll be joined on stage by fellow co-star Kassie DePaiva. Tickets are priced $50 (show and photograph/autograph session following the concert) and $76 (show, photograph/autograph session and copies of each of the women's CDs: Brier's "Heartbreaker," Goldsberry's "Beautiful" and DePaiva's "I Want to Love You").       *Kelly Rowland of Destiny?s Child, American Idol finalist/RCA Records artist Katharine McPhee and gospel superstar BeBe Winans will perform a musical tribute to The Bee Gees ? Barry, Maurice and Robin Gibb ? during the 55th annual BMI Pop Awards, where they will be honored as BMI Icons. The ceremony is to take place May 15 at the Regent Beverly Wilshire hotel in Beverly Hills. (9500 Wilshire Blvd.)
